Description

A J Jordan 10" Butcher Scimitar Double Shear Steel Boxwood 1871 1926 IN STORE ONLY it is written in Arabic Twitty contends it is written in Arabic in the context of a multicultural society but crossed by strong intercommunity tensions easy to use with an exceptionally smooth feel The original marks were able to be avoided but some of the old scratches and pits can be seen around it large numbers of these were heated for days on end at high temperatures and the resulting bars were broken up (it would break or shear rather than bend once carbon added hence 'shear' steel) and forged welded into a larger mass
